**What we are looking for**:
The Principal Growth Marketer (PGM) will have a deep understanding of SEO at scale and be able to take a data-led approach to SEO. You will be comfortable with an experimental mindset to SEO and understand that outcomes need to be measured and tied back to strategic objectives.
- Experience in a leadership position, including a track record of coaching others for success
- Bachelor Degree qualification in Marketing, IT or Business majoring in Digital Marketing
- 4+ years in a digital or technology-focused marketing role
- Demonstrable outcomes in SEO in large scale businesses
- Solid project management skills: ability to lead and collaborate with cross functional partners, prioritise high impact activities and keep complex projects moving forward
- Technical-detail oriented with strong analytical skills, and an adept ability to self-learn and use initiative to solve problems
- Experienced in paid acquisition channels and technologies to institute performant, automated, and scalable results
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluent in an array of ancillary platforms applicable to a digital and data champion
**What you will be doing?**
The Principal Growth Marketer (PGM) is a “player-coach” role. You would be responsible for coaching, guiding, and aligning other Growth Marketers (GMs) and being a solid individual contributor.
The PGM places players at the top of their minds, understanding that any and all marketing activity seeks to maximise the experience for players. You would identify opportunities and solutions that will effectively drive new customers to the relevant brand and increase revenue.
The PGM will improve engagement and conversation metrics throughout the marketing funnel by conducting regular, iterative tests to ensure ideas work. You will know what data matters and use data to inform decisions around strategy, channel implementation, and optimisation efforts.
As part of your role, you will:
- Foster an open and safe environment in which GM work is reviewed to meet our standards.
- Help align and coach GMs to the shared goals across the company.
- Identify and assess the development needs of GMs within your team and ensure relevant training programs, frameworks, and practices exist to up-skill GMs to encourage knowledge-sharing
- Work closely with the Head of Growth to identify emerging areas of opportunity within the business to deploy growth marketing strategies and tactics.
- Understand the lifecycle of customers deeply as they relate to the Client and identify opportunities for growth and optimisation to drive revenue for the Client
- Run marketing campaigns and other growth initiatives end-to-end: identify & define opportunities, shape solutions, design experiments, design campaign strategies, and drive execution of the campaign through to completion
- Identifying initiatives to improve business processes and accelerate growth through analysis, as well as operational execution
- Provide data-driven insights for key stakeholders and use them to develop future strategies to increase customer engagement
- Participate/demonstrate work via presentation or verbally to articulate product features and can propose solutions
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data and Legal to establish growth strategies to support Jumbo’s revenue goals.
- Work with the team to develop growth marketing strategies that focus on key business metrics in Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Referral, and Revenue (AARRR)
