We are seeking an experienced **Project Management Consultant** to lead the successful delivery of large-scale renewable energy projects across Australia, as well as manage a portfolio of smaller initiatives. In this role, you will also be responsible for mentoring and developing the capabilities of less experienced Project Managers within our team, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and the highest standards of project delivery.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Project Scoping & Estimation**: Provide expert guidance on the scope, schedule, and cost estimation of projects to ensure realistic and achievable delivery plans.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Collaborate with internal stakeholders (including program sponsors, technical teams, commercial teams, and community engagement units) and external stakeholders (such as LGAs and contractors) to ensure alignment and smooth project execution.
- **Process Optimization**: Support the development and continuous improvement of project delivery processes, identifying opportunities to enhance cost-efficiency, time management, and quality control across the program lifecycle.
- **Project Leadership**: Drive the planning, procurement, budgeting, reporting, and governance processes for assigned projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- **Risk Management**: Identify and manage project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies, implementing effective mitigation strategies to minimize potential impacts.
- **Governance & Standards**: Establish and enforce robust project management standards and procedures, leveraging your expertise to facilitate ongoing improvements and best practice implementation.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- **Educational Background**: Tertiary qualifications in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- **Certifications**: Industry-recognized accreditation in project management methodologies such as PMBOK®, Prince2, P3O, or MSP.
- **Analytical Expertise**: Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and a solid understanding of business and financial acumen.
- **Relationship Management**: Proven track record in building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
- **Project Management Proficiency**: Extensive experience in developing and managing project management frameworks, with a focus on the renewable energy, government-regulated, or engineering sectors.
- **Communication & Influence**: Exceptional communication, writing, and interpersonal skills, coupled with strong influencing abilities.
- **Strategic Vision**: Ability to align detailed project tasks with the overarching program objectives and effectively communicate the strategic vision to stakeholders.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
