Manager - Reputation Advisory

KPMG is looking for an Associate Director with exceptional writing and interpersonal skills to join their Customer and Operations team. You will have previous experience in providing project support, strong communications and engagement advice and the ability to develop strategies and tactics, to improve the reputation and social licence of our clients and their projects.

This includes:

- ** Building Trust & Reputation** - Taking a proactive approach towards establishing and maintaining brand, reputation, trust and social licence - especially around key events that may heighten community awareness such as the development of new infrastructure or major projects, significant policy change or sudden organisational change
- ** Responding to reputation or trust issues **- A reactive response to a significant event or crisis that may have tarnished or eroded reputation and trust in a company - including mitigating stakeholder activism, managing negative media and stakeholder sentiment and crisis management

All of our services are underpinned by deep stakeholder and market research which allows us to monitor sentiment and enable appropriate evidence-based decision making in the best interest of our clients needs.

**Your Opportunity**:

- previous experience in communications, corporate affairs, public relations, stakeholder engagement and/or community relations
- Experience in energy and/or mining utilities is desirable

- The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships internally and externally
- Commitment to continuous improvement and passion for what you do

**Presentation Skills**
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with people at all level
- Solid understanding of communications across multiple channels, including social media
- Stakeholder engagement experience and a detailed understanding of the Queensland Government stakeholder landscape
- Highly developed written communication skills and demonstrated experience in writing, including report writing, for varying internal and external audiences
- Ability to drive initiatives & strategy from concept through to implementation
- Excellent attention to detail especially focussed on proofreading content
- Efficient in PowerPoint presentation and production
- Strong research capabilities
- Effective planning and organisation skills, coupled with solid analytical skills

**Qualifications**:

- A relevant undergraduate degree in the area of communications, marketing or journalism with experience in media, public relations, stakeholder engagement; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
