As a Community Support Team Member with ATSICHS Brisbane, you won’t just be providing disability or elder support—you’ll be making a real difference in people’s lives. This is a role where you can bring your personality, skills, and passion to work every day. Whether it’s assisting with lawn maintenance, taking clients shopping, sharing a yarn over the phone, or simply watching television together, your impact will be felt in small but powerful ways. You’ll also help facilitate group outings and provide essential support to our Elders, people with disabilities, NDIS participants, and Commonwealth Home Support Scheme clients.

Want to make a real difference in the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members? You’ll provide culturally safe and person-centred support that respects and uplifts our clients.
Enjoy helping people with everyday tasks? You’ll assist clients with shopping, social outings, and household chores to help them maintain their independence.
Like being hands-on? You’ll support clients with lawn maintenance and other practical needs to ensure they feel comfortable in their homes.
Love bringing people together? You’ll facilitate group outings and activities that promote social connection and community engagement.
Keen to build meaningful relationships? You’ll have yarns with clients, offer companionship, and be a trusted presence in their lives.

**Benefits**:
$33.01 to $36.86 base hourly rate + casual loading (plus 11.5% super).

- Immunisation history showing you have received two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine is encouraged.

**Skills and Experiences**:
Required
- **What We’re Looking For**:
A passion for supporting our mob and making a positive impact.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships.
Adaptability and a willingness to support clients in various ways.
A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
Availability to travel across the Logan and/or Brisbane region.
Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
Australian Federal Police Check.
Working with Children’s Card (Blue Card) or eligibility to apply.
NDIS Worker Screening (Yellow Card) or eligibility to apply.
Preferred
- Relevant qualifications such as a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
- Experience in a similar support worker or care-giving role.
- Previous experience working with people with disabilities.
- Flexibility to work outside core business hours to meet individual client needs.
