**Position Information**:
Scone High School is situated in the Upper Hunter Valley of NSW and is a comprehensive, secondary school with an enrolment of 330 students, of which 20% are Aboriginal.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Approval to teach Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE).Willingness to teach Community and Family Studies (CFS) and Sport, Lifestyle and Recreation (SLR).
- Capacity for effective classroom management, and practices that support an inclusive learning environment which promotes positive relationships with students.
- Ability to work collegially as part of a team, and a willingness to contribute to whole school and extracurricular programs.
- Demonstrated commitment to ensuring success for Aboriginal students through engaging teaching and learning.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a faculty to write assessments and learning programs while making a positive contribution to the team environment.
