**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Corporate Risk Manager, this **Brisbane **based role will support in delivery of risk-related services to our stakeholders. Core duties and responsibilities include:

- Execution of operational risk management processes, monitoring, resolution and reporting of breaches and operational risk issues to protect QIC and support the achievement of QIC’s strategic objectives
- Contributing to the production of quality risk-based reports for QIC’s Boards and Committees and executive forums
- Contribute to the drafting of QIC’s Enterprise and Operational Risk Policies and Standards
- Coordinating the production of QIC’s GS007 internal controls report to clients
- Assist in management of the Corporate Insurance Program a
- Contribute to the successful implementation of QIC’s Internal Audit program through coordination with the outsourced provider
- Maintenance of the RMG internet site

**About You**:
You hold a tertiary education qualification with experience across in-house or risk and controls consulting experience. You are a mature thinker with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills and present with:

- Proven understanding of core risk management concepts including the roles and responsibilities of an effective 2nd line function
- Proven track record in the delivery of assurance practices and programs
- Ability to learn processes rapidly
- Strong problem solving and evaluation skills to enable the identification of issues and analysis of options and risk
- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and to meet deadlines in a timely manner
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others and take a proactive approach to your work
- Experience in the investment industry and / or regulated financial services environment is desirable, but not essential
