**About the Company**

Our client is a growing and developing organisation who specialise in providing services within aged care, leading the way with in-home services and independent living for people with high care, dementia care or complex disability support needs. This position is on going and can go permanent. Based in the inner western suburbs.

**About the Role**

In this role, you will be responsible for managing employee-focused investigations related to allegations and/or disclosures of client abuse, neglect, or substandard quality of care.

As the Employee Relations Advisor, you will play a pivotal role within the Quality and Assurance/ P&C team. You will collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure a cooperative environment throughout the investigation process and advice the HR BP's. Your expertise will position you as a respected authority in employee investigations.

**Duties**

Reporting to the Employee Relations Advisor, the responsibilities include the following:

- In partnership with WPR Manager develop a workplace relations framework
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Workplace Relations strategy across the company to ensure industrial harmony.
- Support Workplace Relations Manager in the development and implementation of new
- Enterprise Agreement.
- Work collaboratively with Organisational Development team to propose and develop relevant training content to further enhance management capability in understanding industrial obligations and interpreting industrial instruments including Enterprise Agreements, Awards and Fair Work Legislation.
- Ensure all staff management systems and processes are in line with industrial requirements.
- Objectively investigate / facilitate investigation of all employee related matters including but not limited to disciplinary, work practices, breach of employment conditions and performance management.
- Case manage individual matters and maintain accurate records.
- Produce succinct and objective documentation to support WPR recommendations to CEO / Delegate Authority
- Identify root causes and patterns behind staff related matters and in conjunction with The People & Culture Business Partners devise a sustainable resolution to mitigate similar incidents.
- Liaise with external consultants in case of escalated matters
- Conduct a forensic audit of all staff related policies, contracts and templates to ensure alignment with industrial obligations.
- Regularly update policies and templates to ensure compliance in conjunction with People & Culture Office.
- Contribute and participate in Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) activities to ensure a safe work environment for staff, customers, contractors, visitors and others in the workplace.
- Where appropriate, participate and contribute in workplace inspections, incident reporting and investigations, provide information, instruction and coaching.

**Skills & Experience**
- Strong report writing skills.
- Excellent communication skills, especially with communicating with people from diverse backgrounds.
- High-level of stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with running investigation processes from end to end.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Confident in working autonomously
