**The Opportunity**

As a Mechanical Quality Control (QC) Inspector, your role will be to oversee material management and quality control for a major project. The role includes ensuring all materials meet client requirements and company standards, managing material receiving, allocation and storage, including hazardous and high-cost items. You will work closely with construction teams to prevent delays due to material shortages, manage material requisitions and ensure proper equipment preservation. Responsibilities also include verifying deliveries, handling packing lists and overseeing quarantine areas for damaged or incorrect items, while maintaining stock levels and minimising demurrage.
