This is a site based role which will require you to conduct compliance inspections and checks of incoming fabricated mechanical equipment, as well as construction and installation inspections of mechanical equipment within a refinery.
- Your role will be to ensure compliance with industry standards, specifications, and customer requirements, and that means attention to detail is essential and ability to comply with the contractual requirements of the client and with the company IMS requirements is required.
- **In this role, you will undertake the following duties**:

- Reporting to the Site QC Lead, you will work with the rest of the construction and site based team members to ensure compliance with industry standards, specifications, and customer requirements
- As part of the role, you will be required to use construction management tools and documents such as Checklists, Reports, etc
- Completion of inspection reports including recording defects and NCRs.
- Track defects and NCRs to Defects are to ensure repair / closure.
- Completion of the inspection workflow will include generation of inspection work packs, preparation and administrative processing of inspection reports (including detailed photos), and storing the records.
- Involvement in the Work Package from Kickoff, through Construction to Mechanical Completion.

**Qualification/ Certification**:

- Certificate in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent
- Welding Inspector Qualification would be advantageous
- Previous experience in a QC Mechanical Inspection / Supervision
- General Construction Induction - CPCCWHS1001 Card or equivalent
