We have an exciting opportunity for a **Electronic Service Technician** t**o join our Service team on a **casual** basis.

Reporting to the **Technical Service Manager,** the **Electronic Service Technician **will be responsible for:

- Assist other Service Team members with service related tasks.
- Assist with diagnosing and repairing faults across various GME Land and Marine radio products.
- Perform battery refurbishment and testing of emergency distress beacons.
- Any other duties as directed.

**Skills & Experience required to be a success in the role**:

- Have completed or working towards Tertiary qualifications in Electronics and / or Communications.
- Similar experience in a similar role is desirable.
- Experience in soldering and de soldering to surface mount component level.
- Background in working with or servicing Two-way radio systems is desirable.
- Has experience in using various diagnostic equipment such as Radio Communications Tests sets, Spectrum Analyser and Oscilloscopes.
- Self-motivated and able to work consistently and effectively.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to take on a variety of tasks.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent communicator both written and verbal.

- The role is based at our Winston Hills facility. Remote working is not available for this role.
