**Local Laws Officer**

One of our clients, a local council in the South Eastern Suburbs around the Keysborough area, is looking for a Local Laws Officer.

This Job is a casual role, however will be for 38 hours per week, and could lead on to gaining a full-time contract.

Pay Rate: $32.89

**You will require**:
Be able to work in a Team Environment,

Knowledge of local government act,

Drivers Licence.

Cert IV in Local Government Compliance or equivalent in experience.

Customer service role in compliance/ enforcement highly regarded.

Strong Communication skills.

**Your Main Goal**:
Contribute to the improvement of the local environment through the use of legislation relating to land use, public health, animal control, fire prevention, and public safety.

To also provide assistance to the local community.
