**The Role**

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Injury Management Advisor to join our team. As an Injury Management Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our employees by managing and facilitating the process of workplace injuries and incidents, fitness for work cases and non-work-related conditions. Your expertise will contribute to creating a safe and supportive work environment while minimizing the impact of injuries on our employees and the organization as a whole.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with relevant departments to develop and implement injury prevention strategies and programs.
- Conduct regular assessments of workplace environments and practices to identify potential hazards and risks, recommending necessary adjustments.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for reporting and documenting workplace injuries and incidents.
- Coordinate and lead immediate response efforts, ensuring that injured employees receive appropriate and timely medical attention and support.
- Work closely with medical professionals, insurance providers, and legal experts to manage the complete injury management process.
- Create and maintain injury management plans for affected employees, outlining recovery milestones, accommodations, and return-to-work plans.
- Educate employees and managers on injury prevention techniques, reporting procedures, and workplace safety best practices.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to enhance awareness of injury management processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements related to injury reporting and documentation.
- Foster positive relationships with internal stakeholders, including HR, legal, and management teams, to ensure alignment on injury management strategies.

**What you’ll bring to the team**
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Health/Science/Biomedical/Allied Health/equivalent
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in injury management, occupational health, or a related role, with a strong understanding of workplace safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with employees, medical professionals, and stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret injury data to drive informed decision-making
- Detail-oriented approach to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to injury management and workplace safety
- Availability to travel to remote operational locations
- Certification in injury prevention, occupational health, or a related field is advantageous
