Marnong Estate Winery is an exciting new wine brand located in the heart of Mickleham, only 35 minutes from Melbourne CBD and 15 minutes from the airport.

Our estate is known for producing high-quality cool climate wines that reflect the rich heritage of our region. The first vines were planted in 2016 and we now have 11 grape varieties both French and Italian planted in our vineyard with a focus on sustainable viticulture. We have been selling our wine exclusively on the estate and our now ready to move to our next stage of growth as a brand and launch into the trade.

**Responsibilities**:
Sales and Business Development:

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with trade partners, including restaurants, bars, hotels, and retail establishments.
- Actively pursue new business opportunities to expand the distribution of Marnong Estate wines in the designated territory.
- Conduct regular sales visits, presentations, and tastings to promote our wines and secure new accounts.

2. Achieving Sales Targets:

- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by the management.
- Monitor sales performance and analyse market trends to identify potential growth areas.
- Present regular sales reports to the management, detailing progress and strategies.

3. Brand Ambassadorship:

- Exemplify Marnong Estate Winery's values and ethos as a passionate brand ambassador.
- Communicate the unique story and heritage of our wines to trade partners and consumers.
- Foster a deep understanding of our wine portfolio to confidently discuss and promote our products.

4. Consumer Events:

- Participate in occasional consumer events, wine tastings, and promotional activities.
- Engage with consumers and educate them about Marnong Estate wines while creating memorable experiences.

5. Market and Competitor Analysis:

- Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to make informed sales decisions.
- Identify opportunities for growth and potential challenges, providing valuable feedback to the management.

**Requirements**:

- Proven track record in sales, within the wine or beverage industry.
- Knowledge and passion for wines and the winemaking process.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and proven ability to meet sales targets.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to travel within the designated territory and occasionally attend consumer events.
- Must be of legal drinking age.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Working towards sales targets and KPIs: 2 years (preferred)
- Sales within Wine Industry: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)
- RSA Certificate (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (preferred)

Work Location: On the road
