**About the role**
As a Safety Manager you are responsible for maximising the Safety Management system and creating a positive safety culture to educate our internal teams, host clients and field staff on the resources, compliance and legal responsibilities.

Other responsibilities include:

- Evolving, developing, and embedding policies and procedures within our diverse Safety Management system
- Responsible for setting the safety and compliance strategy
- Develop Training Needs analysis structure and implementation
- Educating and training our key compliance pillars within PI group
- Coach and mentor senior leaders to increase knowledge, ownership, and engagement
- Actively support and promote the PI safety evolution journey to strengthen our safety culture with a focus on care, trust, and inclusion

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will be a strong communicator with the ability to build relationships across the business at all levels. You will be career focused with the drive to take on further opportunities and challenges as they arise.

You will also have:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role in a relevant industry
- Strengths in writing and developing policies process and procedures
- Strong speaking and training capability
- Highly developed decision-making capability, competence in making timely and effective decisions, with an ability to identify opportunities for improvement and commitment to drive outcomes
- Tertiary qualification in OHS
- Certificate IV in Workplace Assessor & Trainer is desirable
- High skill level using Microsoft Suite
