Our school opened 27 January 2021 commencing with 201 foundation students from Prep to Year 6 and is proud to provide quality learning and teaching. We have the opportunity to develop a unique, educational learning community with the co-location of our school, the special school and the secondary school on the one site.
Your Opportunity
Your Role
What are the key responsibilities of the role?
- Cleaning windows, pictures, doorknobs, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, lavatory basins, glassware, glass doors and cupboards.
- Cleaning and sanitising toilet facilities and sick bays.
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment.
- Cobweb and mildew control, utilising extendable equipment as necessary.
- Cleaning of concrete, bitumen, asphalt and paved surfaces.
- Disposal of rubbish and litter control including removal of material from drains and gutters between and/or surrounding buildings.
- Dusting including student and office furniture, equipment and fans.
- Hosing.
- Removal of graffiti.
- Sweeping and vacuuming.
- Vinyl/timber floor maintenance including buffing, stripping and polishing.
- Other appropriate cleaning duties as directed by the Principal/Business Manager.

The following skills and attributes, whilst not mandatory, will be highly regarded:

- The ability to work as a team and autonomously as needed within the schools cleaning plan
- Experience using cleaning equipment is an advantage
- Experience with a schools' chemical management plan is an advantage

**Mandatory requirements**:

- When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
