**About the Role**

Reporting to the Moomba CCS Project Manager, this position is responsible for leading the safe and timely commissioning, start-up, performance/acceptance testing and handover to operations of the integrated Moomba CCS Project (facilities, pipeline and wells).

Key responsibilities and accountabilities of the role include:

- Provide safety leadership to site personnel and ensure EHS requirements, culture and standards are met by Santos personnel and contractors. This will include identifying and leading EHS risk assessments and overseeing the daily monitoring of safety performance.
- Lead and manage the Commissioning Services Contractor (CSC) to deliver all documentation, planning and procedural development/approvals are in accordance with Santos’ schedules and requirements.
- Work with and lead the CSC and/or a team of commissioning technicians, package/vendor specialists, permit authorities and field engineers to ensure the project is safely commissioned to the required quality, budget and schedule.

- Review and approving contractor’s system completion/handover documentation and overseeing the acceptance/categorisation of Category A punch list items.
- Support high quality installation practices through site inspection and punch list walkdown attendance.
- Ensure satisfactory handover of the Moomba CCS facility to Production Operations.

**About You**

You will demonstrate strong experience in the commissioning of oil and gas processing facilities, ideally backed by Engineering qualifications and experience commissioning facilities designed for wet phase CO2 compression and well injection. This will be backed by previous experience safely and productively leading commissioning/start up teams up to handover. Ideally, you will also have worked at Moomba and demonstrate project management capabilities. Professional communication and organisation skills, along with proficiency in MS Office will ensure your success.
