Registrar/pho - Obstetrics and Gynaecology

This is your opportunity to join an emerging tertiary health service as a Registrar/PHO in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from February 2025, to provide patient assessment and management in consultation with the treating Obs/Gyn consultant. The Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service has undergone rapid expansion in the wonderful geographical location of the Sunshine Coast, covering five different hospital campuses including the Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH).
Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

**Key Responsibilities include**:
- To provide high quality medical services within the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.
- Attending acute and elective admissions under the Obstetrics and Gynaecology team, review of inpatients and participating in ward rounds with consultants and outpatient clinics.
- Provide supervision, feedback, teaching and support to junior medical staff and medical students.
- Working in a team dedicated to junior doctor training and accessing both clinical and theoretical Obstetrics and Gynaecology education.
