**The opportunity**

The role will be part of People Technology team and will be primarily responsible for managing AMP’s people data. This role will ensure availability, usability, integrity, accuracy, privacy, and security of our people data. The People and Culture (P&C) business unit within AMP is accountable for the delivery of human resource services. **This is contingent contract role working at AMP **.

**About the role**:

- Work closely with teams across People and Culture to understand the data requirements and pain-points and help prioritise where the largest positive impact will be achieved.
- Develop a strong data governance framework to establish accountability, transparency, and consistency in data management across People & Culture.
- Incorporate processes and controls to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Ensure people data privacy is adhered to as per policy.
- Ensure there is consistent approach to data governance across the different product areas within P&C.
- Build awareness and understanding across People and Culture relating to data related policies and procedures.
- Respond to internal client queries and info requests on data matters.
- Maintain data in line with legislation requirements including safe and secure data archiving and deletion.
- Maintain good relationships with key stakeholders.
- Assess and mitigate data change impacts to downstream processes and systems.
- Ensure secure data records are maintained from collection to storage.
- Ensure safe and secure data sharing are in line with requirements.
- Managing the monthly data chapter meetings.
- Ensure data flow accuracy and integrity between systems and to the people data warehouse.

**About you**:

- Advanced data knowledge, data governance and data management skills.
- Proven experience resolving integration issues.
- Advanced knowledge of HCM systems, preferably Oracle HCM system.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve deliverables and outcomes.
- Advanced integration knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to create and analyse information from raw data sources.
- Strong risk and controls capability.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks while still delivering high quality results under pressure.
- Attention to detail.
- Resourceful with excellent problem-solving skills and follow issues through to resolution.
- Ability to priorities with good time management skills.
- Ability to achieve results under pressure and meet pre-determined deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders to reach an outcome.
