Nature Foundation is a leading not-for-profit and apolitical organisation which invests in conserving, restoring and protecting South Australian landscapes, flora and fauna to ensure their survival. It has contributed to the protection of more than 1.15 million hectares of South Australia, owns and manages 500,000 hectares of terrestrial and wetland ecosystems and is the third largest non-government conservation land manager in Australia.

The organisation is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate person to join a growing team of professionals committed to expanding the business to deliver high quality biodiversity conservation outcomes and make significant contributions to a nature-positive future.

Reporting to the Senior Conservation Land Manager, the role is responsible for the operational management of programs and projects to ensure effective land management on Nature Foundation reserves. Key outcomes for the role include:

- improved nature conservation outcomes are realised through effective biodiversity and wildlife management;
- employees, contractors and volunteers are empowered and motivated and encouraged to meet performance goals and deliver operations safely;
- effective partnerships with the community and key stakeholders are maintained in support of beneficial conservation and land management outcomes;
- effective and coordinated execution of work plans and work program implementation in line with best practice standards.

The position will be based at either Hiltaba or Witchelina nature reserves.
