**Edinburgh Early / Late Firefighter**

Ventia has a long successful relationship with the Australian Defence Force. Our current long-term contract is to deliver Estate Maintenance and Operations Services, Hospitality and Catering, Fire and Refuelling, Retail Stores and Petrol’s, Oils and Lubricants across the nation.

**About the role**

Our Rescue & Fire Fighting (RFF) services currently extend from stations in WA, SA, VIC, NSW and QLD. Due to the evolving nature of this contract, we are currently employing a Fire-Fighter in our Urban / Aviation Fire and Rescue operations at RAAF base Edinburgh.

The successful Firefighter will respond to incidents as required and perform duties as directed by the Station Officer, Sub-Station Officer and Leading Firefighter.

All positions will require the successful applicants to work an average 38 hour week on an early / late roster cycle, Monday to Thursday between the hours of 0700 - 2330hrs and Friday between the hours of 0700 - 1700hrs
- excluding public holidays.

You must be an Australian citizen and able to maintain a Department of Defence Security Clearance to apply.

**Skills and Experience**
- PUA20613 Certificate II in Public Safety (Firefighting and Emergency Operations)
- PUA30613 Certificate III in Public Safety (Firefighting and Emergency Operations)

**Note**: Ventia require specific units from within the Certificate levels and incorporate the following units of competency (inclusive of Public Safety aviation units).
