**About Us**

**About the Role**

We are seeking an administrative super star for a casual Health Clerk position based at the Edinburgh Health Centre, located 25km north of the Adelaide CBD. You will be responsible for providing clerical services including maintenance of electronic and hard copy health records, maintaining databases and information management systems, filing and photocopying and ordering stationery. You will also communicate with internal and external customers to obtain patient information as required. The work you undertake will be in accordance with Defence Policies and Procedures, Medical-in-Confidence and Staff-in-Confidence standards.
- To be successful in this role, you will have:_
- The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
- Minimum of 1 year full-time experience in an administrative role (or part-time equivalent).
- Evidence of completion of a medical terminology course from a RTO or other training / course as approved by the Commonwealth OR a minimum of 5 years in a primary health care or military health setting (or part time equivalent).
- Demonstrated ability to work in a customer service focused environment (desirable).
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to support the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality care to patients.

**About the Edinburgh Health Centre**

Edinburgh Health Centre is located 25km North of Adelaide. This super-base houses 3500 personnel from the Australian Army and RAAF, and is home to the RAAF Institute of Aviation Medicine, currently staffed by uniformed and civilian medical staff. The Health Centre consists of a 22-bed inpatient facility, staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, along with general medical, dental, physiotherapy, mental health, pharmaceutical, and minor surgical services. The Standard Operating hours of the centre are 0730-1530, Monday-Friday.

With experience working in a clinical support role, you enjoy knowing your work is contributing to positive health outcomes for patients. Your excellent interpersonal skills mean you are able to easily communicate with internal staff and external customers and your team knows you are willing to go the extra mile to help out wherever needed. You understand the importance of accurate and up-to-date record keeping in a clinical environment and take pride in being responsible for this. You are a respectful and professional person who demonstrates exceptional moral values in everything you do. You are passionate about providing clinical support services and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support delivery of the highest standard of care to patients.
