**The Opportunity**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Casual Research Development Coordinator to join the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture. The incumbent will be responsible for providing high quality advice and support to procure competitive external research funding, as well as support internal funding programs. This role will play a key part in supporting research funding activities and ensuring the delivery of high-quality administrative and operational processes that underpin our Faculty’s research excellence.

As a Casual Research Development Coordinator your duties will include but are not limited to;
- Providing high-level administrative and financial management support for research projects and programs, including maintaining/using information systems, databases, websites and record-keeping systems.
- Providing high-level administrative support to the Faculty Research Committee and its associated sub
- committees.
- Developing high-quality documentation including papers, presentations, proposals, communications, and briefings for a variety of audiences.
- In consultation with the Senior Manager, managing internal funding programs ensuring schemes remain within budget, and conduct evaluations of the schemes in relation to strategic objectives, recommending changes as required.

To be successful in this role you will be highly organised, adaptable, and proactive, with excellent communication skills and an eye for detail. You’ll have prior experience in research administration or project coordination, ideally within a university environment.
