**Our Opportunity**

Due to exponential growth, NEPEAN Engineering & Innovation are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join the team. The position is a full-time permanent opportunity, based in Narellan NSW.

Daily duties will include however are not limited to;
- Operate various machines including beamline machine and laser cutting machine.
- Fabrication of plate work.
- Identify improvements and complete a Non-Conformance Report if/when required.
- Ensuring that your work area is of a high standard and free of hazards.
- Provide training to apprentices by demonstrating correct work procedures.
- Responsible for the housekeeping and cleanliness of your designated workplace and site in general to 5S Standard.

**The Right Person**
- Proven experience in fabrication of structural steel and heavy plate work is preferred.
- Exposure to operating beam line machine, heavy rollers and 1000T press is ideal.
- Previous experience with handling fabricated/welded structures.
- Knowledge and understanding of Australian steel sections sizes including UB, UC, PFC, EA, UA, WB and WC.
- Basic mechanical understanding, including machine maintenance.
- Ability to evaluate, understand and fabricate from technical drawings is desirable but not necessary
- Rights to work in Australia.
