Lead the management and delivery of cyber security controls and solutions to ensure a safe and secure technology environment that also complies with regulatory obligations (including SOCI) and industry frameworks. You will be expected to combine architectural and governance responsibilities with continual improvement of cyber security initiatives to fulfill delivery of cyber security projects across both IT and OT. You'll also lead Project Steering Committees and Working Groups to ensure stakeholders are kept informed of inflight activities, decisions are sought, and issues/risks are escalated in a timely manner.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Cyber Security Operations**
- Ensure day-to-day cyber operations are effectively running and compliant with internal and external requirements.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities to increase the security maturity, efficiency and effectiveness of the business using innovative solution design thinking.

**Project Delivery**
- Understand security architecture - develop, evaluate, and assess design and integration approaches to capture security risks.
- Provide technical advice relating to security standards, strategies, emerging technologies, and desirable security architecture.
- Stay abreast of current and emerging security threats, design security practices and architecture to mitigate them, and act on alerts and advisories.
- Manage and/or participate in multiple parallel projects, ensuring they comply with security standards and are delivered within quality, schedule, and budget constraints.
- Engage with both in-house and vendor delivery teams to ensure outcomes are delivered in alignment with business requirements.
- Support business/IT leadership to develop business cases for new solutions which enhance the security posture and/or value of our assets and/or the value they deliver.
- Develop and maintain high quality project documentation, including project plans, budget tracking and status reporting.

**Vendor Management**
- Management of specialist cyber security vendors, including Security Operations Centre (SOC) and external assessors.
- Establish and maintain constructive supplier relationships for both products and services.
- Ensure the needs for due diligence, risk assessment and continuing vendor monitoring are being met.
- Proactively engage in the procurement process, managing lead-times and supply chain constraints to meet project demands.
- Track, measure, report and evaluate vendor performance as part of broader project status reporting and post-implementation reviews.
