**Job description**

Bharosa community services looking for female support worker (as per client requests) to join our team on a casual basis (with part-time potential)

Bharosa Community Services offers services for people with disabilities to help them live with respect and dignity while engaging in all their favourite activities in a secure environment. Our qualified and experienced staff provide individual and community care across all of Brisbane.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**

Providing care and support to clients in line with their personalised care plans, including:

- Personal tasks
- Community Access
- Domestic assistance
- Social support
- Transportation Support
- Meal preparation
- Group activities Support
- Life skills development

**QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS**
- Cert III Individual Support, Mental Health, Aged Care, Community Services, Disability Work or similar.
- Valid NDIS Workers Screening Check, Current WWCC, Criminal Record Check and First Aid Certificate
- Driver Licence
- Reliable and comprehensively insured vehicle
- Smart phone

**EXPERIENCE**:

- Minimum 6 months relevant experience
- Experience supporting People with Disability.
- Demonstrated Continuing Professional Development.
- Knowledge of continuous quality improvement principles

**SKILLS**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Strong time management and ability to prioritise.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office suite of programs and other computer systems for record keeping.
- Excellent problem solving and conflict management skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and maintain good working relationships.

**Job Types**: Casual, Part-time

**Salary**: $31.60 - $41.53 per hour

- Brisbane QLD 4000: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
- First Aid and CPR Certificate (preferred)
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card) (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 100% (preferred)

Work Location: Brisbane and Surroundings

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $31.60 - $41.53 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
