**How will I Help?**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- As a key member of the Procurement Frameworks & Policy Team, you will work with colleagues to continuously improve upon the Group Procurement Policy and Supplier Risk Management Standard, ensuring it remains ambulatory and appropriately applicable to the dynamic Westpac environment.
- Establish and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders across the Westpac Group to ensure alignment of Group Procurement Policy with other business divisional policies consistent with Westpac needs, goals and objectives.
- Support the team regarding queries and questions on the Group Procurement Policy and Supplier Risk Management Standard, including having responsibility for annual reviews, compliance and all associated processes/activities.
- Maintain and continuously improve upon end-to-end procurement processes, challenging and improving upon processes inline with Westpac values and behaviours.
- Work closely with the Executive Manager, Procurement Frameworks & Policy to:
- Conduct duties in accordance with all polices, standards and procedures.
- Engage and collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business needs/adjacent policies, ensure Group Procurement supports/aligns with these needs.
- Monitor and report on activities under Group Procurement Policy and Supplier Risk Management Standard and identify areas for improvement.
- Foster a team culture of continuous improvement.

**What do I need?**
- A solid background (2-4 years) in procurement including negotiating and managing supplier contracts, senior stakeholders, and supplier relationships
- Experience working with or on corporate standards, policies and frameworks (preferred)
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing work against deadlines and dependencies
- A high level of stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Ability to work flexibility in a rapidly changing environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and presentation
- Self-leader - works independently, manages to high quality and time with mínimal direction
- A tertiary qualification in business management or legal studies
- Experience working in a regulated industry. Financial services preferred
