**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a compassionate and professional **female support worker**, preferably of **Filipino or Nepalese background**, who is fluent in English, to assist a **male participant in a wheelchair living in Granville, NSW**. As a support worker with Fatima Care, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and ensuring the participant's independence, dignity, and quality of life.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care and assistance tailored to the needs of a male participant in a wheelchair, including support with mobility and transfers.
- Assist with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal hygiene.
- Facilitate access to community programs, activities, and appointments.
- Foster a positive, respectful relationship with the client and their family.
- Follow the individual support plan and guidelines set by Fatima Care and the NDIS.
- Uphold the values and mission of Fatima Care in all interactions

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
- Experience in support work or a related field, particularly with wheelchair users (preferred but not essential).
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (preferred).
- Training in manual handling or willingness to undertake training.
- Compassionate, reliable, and culturally sensitive approach to care.
- Must be female and preferably of Filipino or Nepalese background to meet the cultural preferences of our clients.
