**The Opportunity**
**The AERIAL Study is a vital child health research project investigating airway health outcomes. This is a hands-on, participant-facing role ideal for someone with clinical or health research experience who is passionate about making a difference in children’s lives.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Conduct participant follow-up visits at home or at The Kids Joondalup Clinic, including collecting nasal swabs, nasal brushings, and lung function testing.
- Ensure all data and samples are collected, recorded, and stored in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and research protocols.
- Provide administrative support including managing the study inbox, ordering supplies, and coordinating bookings.
- Maintain strong relationships with study participants and families, delivering an exceptional standard of care and communication.
- Collaborate with researchers and health professionals to ensure high-quality study delivery and data integrity.
This is a part-time role (6 hours per week) for a period of 3 years.
**About You**
**We are looking for a motivated and reliable team member with a strong background in health or clinical research and the ability to confidently engage with participants and their families.
- Tertiary qualification in Nursing or a health-related field.
- Current GCP certification and CPR certificate.
- Experience with biological sample collection (e.g. nasal swabs and brushings) and data handling.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain high attention to detail.
- Current WA driver’s licence, access to a reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel to participant homes.
- Flexible availability to accommodate participant scheduling.
- **Desirable**: Experience in research and knowledge of infection control procedures
