**Job purpose**
- Contribute to the delivery of analytical insights products across several key clients.
- Observe, analysis and report on relevant media patterns, trends, and activity.
- Support the development of long-term brand communications and quick response strategic communications.

**Main Accountabilities**

**_Responsibilities_ _are_ _to_**:

- Analyse relevant social media patterns, trends and activity;
- Produce analytical reports that clearly communicate your findings;
- Support the development of strategic communications with analytical insights;
- Development and then maintain a comprehensive understanding of relevant social media platforms, environments, and actors.

**_Also_**:

- Be prepared to assist outside the stated core responsibilities and be proactive in supporting a small, dynamic project team dealing with daily challenges
- Show initiative to improve internal processes and end products
- Be prepared to work across UK, US and Australia time zones and occasional irregular hours.
- Be an ambassador for M&C Saatchi World Services.

**Knowledge and Expertise**

**_Essential_**
- Fluent in English and either Mandarin or Cantonese.
- Familiar with workings of major English and Chinese language social media platforms.
- Excellent written communication skills.

**_Desirable_**
- Interest in and understanding of contemporary geopolitics.
- Identifies as belonging to the Chinese-Australian community.

**Experience and Qualifications and Core Skills**:
**_Essential: _**
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills (English).
- Proficient in all components of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Excel).
- Attention to detail and a passion for observing/investigating/understanding patterns, trends, and broader contexts.

**_Desirable: _**
- Experience of working with Government clients
- Education/knowledge/interest in any of the following:

- International relations
- The role of digital and social media on society
- A second language is a bonus
