We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Experience Partner (Senior HR Advisor/HR Business Partner) with a passion for transformation whilst balancing the operation HR remit for a large national client group.
A snapshot of the role.
You will play a pivotal part of this client groups transformation journey as a key priority for 2025. In addition you will:
Effectively manage employee relations matters and performance management processes.
Conduct investigations into grievances, underperformance, and disciplinary issues ensuring due process is followed
Provide quality ER advice on policy matters and employee issues ensuring commercial and lawful outcomes
Provide recommendations and advice on performance management and grievance activities
Provide recommendations on continuous improvement of ER processes
Support employees during transition, expansion, and stabilisation of new business, as well as restructuring of existing teams, with a strong focus on employee experience
Proactively anticipate opportunities or issues and develop innovative solutions to address root causes.
Ensure an exceptional employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance reviews, promotions, etc.
Foster a culture of inclusion that celebrates employee diversity and promotes employee belonging.
Support managers in understanding and ensuring compliance with: Grievance handling procedures
Performance management standards
Legislative requirements
Solid understanding of relevant state legislation regarding Long Service Leave and Work, Health & Safety, particularly psychosocial hazard
Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver best practices and high-quality results
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop options and solutions with a delivery focus
Proven experience in a similar HR generalist role with a focus on employee relations
Tertiary qualifications in HR/ER, with a proven track record in group relationship management, employee relations, case management, and project work.
In-depth knowledge of Australian employment law, particularly the Fair Work Act and the National Employment Standards.
Comfort working with digital technology, understanding processes and systems.
