Full time temporary contract Customer Service and Support Officer role based in the Hobart CBD.

Based in the Hobart CBD, this position sits within the Tasmanian Foreign Affairs and Trade Sector and is an opportunity to join the Hobart team. Their responsibilities promote and protect Australia’s international interests to support our security and prosperity.
**Your new role**
You will provide customer advice and support to a busy division for a 10-month period, with the possibility for extension. Your core duties will be customer liaison and counter support to the office and will include duties such as:
- Management and distribution of high volume of mail and correspondence
- High speed and accurate data entry, document preparation, scanning, personalisation, crop, document/photo exceptions re-work
- Assist in the travel document production workflow
- Perform customer service, notarial duties, personalisation support, custodian, and telephone enquiries
- Undertake Quality Assurance checks of travel documents
- Any other ad hoc administration support required
**What you'll need to succeed**

You will receive an attractive casual hourly rate and work a 5-day week. You will get the opportunity to work semi-autonomously in a small team.
