**About The Role**

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer the Manager Communications, Engagement & Advocacy you will be the driving force behind our Communications and Advocacy plans, collaborating with diverse stakeholders to ensure we achieve our goals and engage our community.

Leading and managing a team of 12 talented professionals you will work to support Council on campaigns, advocacy, online and social media, brand and provide a high level of stakeholder engagement, strategy development and provide advice on reputational risk management.

This role also acts as a trusted advisor to the Mayor, Councillors, and CEO, providing guidance and direction on how to navigate the complex and dynamic political landscape.

We are looking for someone who understands political communications.

You think strategically and understands how to communicate and translate strategy to operations. You have the ability run multiple campaigns and manage various stakeholder needs concurrently; and be able to motivate and leverage your teams ability to deliver excellent outcomes. You will foster a culture of excellence and innovation, and champion continuous improvement through effective systems and processes.
