**About the role**

As a receptionist you will be the first point of contact for our visitors, we are seeking someone who will provide a positive experience whilst assisting with administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

**Key responsibilities**
- Greet and direct visitors, clients, participants, and other external staff to appropriate personnel
- Manage and coordinate participants at the front desk when they attend appointments
- Answer main reception telephone, directing calls, taking messages and answering general queries
- Coordinate mail services as appropriate, including couriers
- Provide specific and appropriate clinical study documentation to participants to read upon arrival for their screening appointment
- Ensure all participants complete their Personal Details Form accurately and are registered correctly
- Liaise with screening staff and medical officers to ensure timely turnaround of scheduled appointments
- Update outpatient calendar with arrival time of participants and contact people who fail to present for their appointment
- Liaise with Study Coordinators to ensure that adequate documentation is prepared and available on a daily basis
- Perform completeness checks on the biological samples being handed over to the courier.
- Receive deliveries from the daily courier.
- Facilitate ordering of office supplies and ensure that office supplies are adequate at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Proven reception and administration experience
- An ability to use standard business software packages including Microsoft Office
- High level of communication and customer service skills
- Must have excellent time management skills and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptable, shows initiative and has a strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently and effectively in a team
