**About the role**:
Our Procurement function is a core part of our business and an area we continue to invest heavily in. The most important part of that investment is our people and we are seeking great talent with packaging sourcing experience to report to our Procurement Manager - Directs. The overall purpose of this role is the end-to-end category management of defined categories from sourcing through to contract management.

Reporting to the Procurement Manger - Packaging your responsibilities will include:

- You will be responsible for their financial performance including identification and delivery of cost savings projects, and establishing and making recommendations on short and long term supplier strategies.
- Providing regular reports for senior stakeholders (Executive Committee Members and Procurement Directors) such as market reports, business unit dashboards, internal reporting on savings/rebates, and payment term performance.
- Develop and manage strategic category management across the Directs category in order to identify and maximise procurement efficiencies, value generation, and market insight strategy for the procurement process, and to build the overall effectiveness of the Procurement and Contract Management function.

**About you**:

- You have had exposure to a complex procurement function
- Previous procurement experience with a deep understanding of FMCG manufacturing will be highly regarded
- Experience in Packaging is essential - 2 years
- Looking for the start of your career or to continue growing your skills with a Global Company
- Demonstrated communication skills across senior stakeholders and vendor environments.
- Extensive experience driving strategic outcomes and collaboration with peers and management.
- High level oral and written communication skills
