
Disability Support Worker

**Position Overview**
As a Disability Support Worker at **ENAALY**, you'll play a central role in empowering individuals with disabilities to live life on their terms. This role involves providing practical support, promoting independence, and encouraging social participation, all while respecting each person's choices, dignity, and rights.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Partner with participants to understand and work towards their personal goals and support needs.
- Develop and follow individual support plans that reflect each person's preferences, strengths, and aspirations.
- Monitor progress and make timely adjustments to support strategies in collaboration with the individual and their network.
- Build strong, respectful relationships with individuals, families, and carers.
- Support clients with daily living activities, personal care, community engagement, and skill development.
- Ensure services are delivered in line with NDIS requirements, disability standards, and ENAALY’s values.
- Identify and report risks or concerns to the appropriate manager or safeguarding authority.
- Represent ENAALY with integrity and contribute to a culture of safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
- Attend and engage in mandatory training and professional development opportunities.

- Individuals are empowered to make decisions about their lives.
- Goals identified in individual plans are actively pursued and regularly reviewed.
- Support is consistently delivered with professionalism, empathy, and accountability.
- Legal, ethical, and service standards are upheld at all times.
- Positive feedback is received from individuals, families, and team members.

**Job Type**: Casual
Pay: $24.07 - $53.29 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Quakers Hill NSW 2763: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Disability support work: 2 years (preferred)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (required)
Willingness to travel:
- 50% (preferred)
