About us: Looking for Personal Care Assistant

Carehaven is an Australian disability, community and healthcare services provider that operates in the ACT, NSW, QLD and Victoria. Our goal is to provide client-centred healthcare and support services for individuals or organisations that require them. To help us achieve this goal, we are currently seeking Support Worker. If you are a professional individual that is willing to be challenged and demonstrate a high standard of care, this is the role for you

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide our clients with assistance as they accomplish daily tasks, including bathing, eating, dressing, grooming and using the restroom
- Maintain all care records in accordance with company policy and audit care records weekly to ensure accuracy
- Communicate any problems, concerns or issues to residents’ family members as needed
- Ensure all patients take medications as directed by health care providers
- Build rapport with clients by establishing personal connections by caring and showing interest in their lives
- Respond to any safety or medical issues

Minimum Requirements
- Cert III or IV in Individual Support
- Police Check or be willing to have a police check
- Provide 2 contactable professional referees.

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
- Overnight Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)
