We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Male Support Worker to join our team and provide exceptional care to a client in Wollongong.

**Role Overview**:
As a Support Worker, you will assist a client with meal preparation, domestic assistance, and transportation for community access. The role is centered around empowering the participant to lead a more independent and fulfilling life by providing hands-on support with everyday tasks and helping them access and engage in community activities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Meal Preparation**: Assist with planning, preparing, and cooking meals based on the participant's dietary requirements.
- **Domestic Assistance**: Provide help with cleaning, laundry, and general home upkeep to ensure a comfortable living environment.
- **Transportation**: Assist the client with transportation needs, including taking them to appointments, social events, or community activities.
- **Community Access**: Support the participant in engaging with the community, promoting social inclusion and helping them develop independent living skills.
- Provide personal care and support where needed, maintaining a respectful and professional approach at all times.

**About You**:

- Experience in providing care or support to individuals, preferably in a home care or community access setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient nature.
- Must be male (as per client preference).
- Hold a valid NDIS Worker Check.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to the participant's changing needs.
- Previous experience in meal preparation, domestic assistance, and transportation services is highly desirable.

**Desirable Qualifications**:

- Certificate III (Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability or Home and Community Care),
- Experience working within the Aged Care or Community Care sector would be beneficial
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Hold a valid NDIS Worker Check.
