**Assistant Director (2IC) / Educational Leader - Little Zak’s Academy Carey Bay**

We are looking for an **experienced and inspiring Assistant Director (2IC) / Educational Leader** to join our **Carey Bay** team. This is an exciting opportunity to support our Centre Director and lead a team of educators who share your passion for high-quality early education.

**About the Role**
In this leadership role, you’ll:

- Provide **guidance, mentorship, and direction** to educators through collaboration and support
- Assist educators to effectively implement the **planning cycle** and enhance educational practices
- Lead and develop **innovative and engaging educational programs** guided by the **Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)**:

- Foster a culture of **respectful communication** and professional excellence within the team
- Support the **Centre Director** in maintaining compliance, quality standards, and operational success

**About You**
To thrive in this role, you’ll have:

- **ACECQA-approved Diploma** or **Early Childhood Teaching Degree**:

- Previous **experience in a leadership or 2IC/Educational Leader role** (highly regarded)
- **Current Working with Children Check**:

- **Comprehensive knowledge of EYLF and NQS**:

- Excellent **communication and interpersonal skills**:

- **Strong computer literacy**:

- **Current approved First Aid Certificate**, including **Asthma and Anaphylaxis training**
