Korn Ferry’s Organisational Strategy practice in Australia works with organisations to improve their performance by aligning their leadership, people, organisation and culture to their strategic goals. We are looking to hire a Delivery Engagement Lead to join Organisational Strategy in Sydney for a period of 12 months. We’re looking for people who take an evidence-based and people-centric approach to thinking about work, with a passion for helping clients improve individual and organisational performance. Formal experience in people and organisational consulting is important. A background in psychology is helpful, but above all else a deep interest in understanding people is key.
You will work closely with colleagues to deliver complex and/or customised and/or multi work-stream solutions that meet and exceed client expectations. At this level, there is an expectation that you would contribute to winning business, generally through extension of existing work but also as a ‘go-to’ person in smaller clients. You will lead relationships and/or projects of considerable complexity and will have the experience and expertise to engage and mobilise a client behind a particular idea or solution.
**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Lead and manage medium sized projects or complex work streams, including developing the project plan, engaging the resources and delivering the solution. Typical projects may last up to 6 months and would involve no more than 5 consultants.
- Manage small client relationships and/or support relationship development as part of the account in order to win work.
- Contribute to winning profitable business by conducting background research, proposal writing, pricing, shaping opportunities, pitch preparation and opportunity spotting in clients.
- Work with KF industry leaders to develop and customise offerings within a service line and targeted at a particular industry.
- Develop deeper expertise in at least one expertise area, as well as an understanding of KF’s broader offerings.
**Skills & Experience**
- Bachelors or Masters degree (psychology or people-related disciplines an advantage), plus 5 years work experience in the Strategy & Operations/transformation practice of a management consultancy OR HR operations/M&A integration /organisational development/organisational design experience in a corporate setting
- Track record of helping clients to develop and implement transformation roadmaps with a strong emphasis on the leadership, organisation, people, and cultural changes required to improve performance
- Skilled in some of the following areas:
- Operating model / organisation design
- Performance management
- Culture diagnostics and change management
- Workforce transformation
- People strategy development and implementation
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to work independently. Ability to proactively achieve goals and strategies under shifting conditions and with different tasks, job responsibilities, and people.
- Fluency in PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with data analytics/visualisation tools such as Power BI, Orgvue preferred.
- Ability to communicate ideas and recommendations to clients in a professional, clear, concise and engaging way
