**Your Venue - Alibi Bar & Kitchen**

Alibi’s menu sees a combination of classical and innovative cooking techniques showcasing locally sourced plant-based ingredients. Alibi also offers a seasonal menu of classic cocktails with a modern take positioning seasonal ingredients at the forefront. Offering an extensive and playful experience with a variety of alcoholic and zero-proof cocktails.

**The Gig**

As our new **Assistant Bar Manager, **you will be assisting Bar Manager to lead the beverage operation, ensuring a smooth and effortless experience for our guests. You will work closely with the restaurant manager to represent and ensure succession in Ovolo's F&B department, driving revenue and increasing customer satisfaction. You will lead your bar team providing consistent training, knowledge and progression in a fun working environment. This is a **Full-Time** role operating on a 7 day rotating roster. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Effectively lead a busy bar team
- Attend to daily administration tasks including ordering & invoices as well as completing daily reports
- Have a high standard of operations, procedures and service
- Devise comprehensive and user-friendly standards and procedures for beverage operations and communicate effectively across the team
- Ensure that the bar and surrounding areas are kept clean and tidy at all times and well maintained
- Work as a team builder to recruit, train and hire staff
- Establish and customize service level standards
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships
- Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning through the introduction of new programs and strategies
- Enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures that will positively impact the P&L and improve the overall bar operation
- Design, create and serve amazing cocktails to our hotel and external guests

We provide a fun and exciting environment and all we ask is that you give us your dedication to our brand and most importantly, your team As our Bar Manager, you will have excellent knowledge of mixology and serving drinks with at least 3 years in a high-end Bar environment. You will already have a working knowledge in P.O.S (Micros) systems or similar. You will come with a passion and willingness to learn, as well as a positive all-round attitude that will surely brighten up anyone's day. You will also have strong leadership qualities with the ability to work in a dynamic team.
