**About the Role**
- Working within the Directorate of Strategic Communication’s Sustainment (DSCS)’ Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team within the Defence Strategic Communications Branch (DSCB)
- Managing Branch’s products & services using IT Service Management (ITSM) framework, Service Lifecycle Management Plans (SLMPs) and Service Records.
- Responsible for the development and management of fiscal, technical and operational risks, in-service support and obsolescence of these products/services through Service Lifecycle Management Plans (SLMPs)
- Responsible for generation and maintenance of Service Records which document relevant information about these product/services
- Responsible for the coordination of technical changes (on Defence’s ITSM tools) to transition (TiS/TSR) these products & services under the ITSM and TAF frameworks and utilising their technical delegation to support the in-service Design Acceptance Authority Representative (DAAR)
**About You**
- Knowledge and experience in Configuration Management in ICT networks/bearers and/or gateways
- Knowledge and experience of ITIL, systems engineering, risk management, V&V, configuration management, reliability, availability and maintainability
- Experience in provision of technical support in one or more of the following ICT service towers: network/bearers, gateways, tactical interfaces, ICT infrastructure
- Ability to receive technical authority delegation as defined by ICT TAF (level 2)
- Four year engineering degree in an ICT discipline or closed related discipline (e.g. Electrical Engineering)
- Experience in supporting Defence ICT environment
- Knowledge of Defence ICT TAF
