**Locatio**n: Slingco Australia, Melbourne (Dandenong South 3175, Victoria)**
**Salary: $60,000-$70,000 AUD per annum**

The Operations Co-ordinator will support the EGM with day-to-day operational functions such as: Quotes, Orders, Stock Management, Database Management, and general administration.

This is a hands-on and varied role working in a small team where you will be involved in both administrative and warehouse based activities.

**Main Duties**
- To prepare quotations via the Business Central portal and pricing matrix.
- To manage the Opportunity Pipeline funnel via Excel spreadsheet.
- To enter Purchase Orders into the Business Central portal.
- To manage stock levels, allocate new stock arrival and request transfer orders for new stock.
- To pick items from stock held in Australia warehouse, pack and make ready to ship.
- To contact customers / freight forwarders to advise collection or shipment of goods.
- To enter customer contacts into ACT Database and MailChimp EDM schedule.
- To liaise with UK team to progress orders on manufacturing / stock transfers and general enquiries.

Whilst the above list is not exhaustive of all duties, it is essential that applicants have significant knowledge and understanding of these areas and can demonstrate this at interview.

**About you**
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering preferred but not essential.
- Experience within the distribution network or environment.
- Good understanding of MS systems and working with customer portals.
- To have strong MS Excel and Word processing skills.
- To have some knowledge and experience of the electrical or mining industry. Preferably, previously worked within a distributor from either of these markets.
- To have a good understanding of import & export procedures and terminology.
- Have an excellent telephone manner to follow up enquiries, chase quotations and process purchase orders.
- To enjoy working as part of a team.
- Must be enthusiastic, flexible, and good time management skills to meet customer & organisational deadlines.
- Be able to converse with the customer to understand specific needs and requirements and seek out future opportunities.
- Must be able to maintain customer contact information and records via 3rd party databases, ensuring regular contact to update customer on product information and services.
- Be able to build a strong understanding of the customer/s business and markets they operate within.
- To be able to converse with Slingco locations globally as required to obtain correct product information, brochure & product updates pricing and availability and to understand contractual inter-company compliance.
