Midwifery Unit Manager

**Midwifery Unit Manager (MUM) - Postnatal Unit, Midwifery in the Home and Lactation Services.**
- Join our multidisciplinary team of passionate clinicians providing maternity care to women in the western suburbs of Melbourne.

**THE ROLE**:

- Located at Werribee Mercy Hospital within the Maternity Service
- Managing our 32-bed postnatal unit, 7 day per week MITH Service and 6 day per week Lactation Service
- Full Time - 1.0eft - Monday - Friday
- Providing effective midwifery leadership and strategic direction, in partnership with the MUM of Birthing Suite, Maternity Assessment Unit and Pregnancy Day Stay
- Reporting to the Divisional Director Women's and Children's Services

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Seeking:

- An innovative midwifery leader who has considerable experience in a Midwifery Unit Manager role.
- Demonstrates positive collaborative skills in an established multidisciplinary team.
- Experience with management processes including HR, clinical risk and effective financial management
- Passionate about providing best practice immediate and extended postnatal care to women and babies.
- Masters qualification in Midwifery Leadership or Health Services Leadership (or working towards)
