**About the role**:
Our most fashionable and stylish team are on the hunt for a **Planning Assistant** to support our **Babywear **portfolio

Our Merchandise Planning Assistants support our Planners to maximise sales through effective planning, quantification, analysis and proactive management of open to buy and allocations.

**Key deliverables**:

- ** Stock Management**:

- Place & check replenishment order proposals and approve orders.
- New store purchase order generation based on expected size and store turnover
- ** Analysis and Reporting**:

- Compare like store sales performance and stock turnover rates to identify trends and anomalies.
- Review replenishment against sales performance.
- Research and understand store trends and changes and propose action with Planner.
- ** Supplier Relations**:

- Work closely with supplier/import liaison officer to help resolve any issues relating to delivery conformance.
- ** Store Support**:

- Analyse store performance and monitor store inventory levels.
- Monitor store changes, additions and deletions to stock ordering to ensure distribution strategies are not compromised and consulting with management when problems and trends are identified.
- Proactively seek knowledge in changing store demographics to help decisions in stock flow.

**About you**:

- Proven experience in Merchandise Planning
- Intermediate to Advance excel skills
- Retail experience, particularly with store replenishment, forecasting and inventory management
- Genuine interest and desire to improve the knowledge, skills and attributes of a large team in a retail environment.
- Ability to think laterally and logically.
- Ability to forward plan
