**The Medical Education Registrar (MER) will work closely with the Director of Postgraduate Medical Education, Medical Education Officer and Directors of Clinical Training to provide assistance with the post graduate medical education activities. These include hospital orientation, a hospital-wide education program, education programs for international medical graduates, simulation sessions and mandatory competencies. The MER is expected to provide supervision, support and mentoring for junior doctors, along with policy updates and documentation for medical council accreditation. The remaining proportion of this position will include clinical work as a Medical Registrar in the hospital.

The position requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a team and a commitment to the welfare and education of junior doctors.

**Essential Criteria**:
Registered as a medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Authority ( Medical Board)

**Requirements**:
