**The Role**

As a Web Content Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing, creating, and optimizing content across our client's website to enhance user experience, drive engagement, and align with business objectives. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams and leveraging your expertise in content management systems (CMS) to ensure digital content meets high-quality standards.

This opportunity is offered as a contract role, paid on a day rate. The duration of the position is expected to extend beyond at least 6 months and there is the opportunity to undertake this role as a hybrid engagement (split between home and the office).

**Responsibilities**
- Content Management - Ensure the effectiveness, engagement, and alignment of the website's content with the business's objectives and the needs of its audience. Manage and organize all content featured on the website, including written materials, images, videos, documents, and other media.
- Quality and Relevance - Maintain a high standard of quality and relevance for all website content and regularly review and update content to ensure accuracy and alignment with brand guidelines
- Collaboration - Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather information, insights, and updates for website content. Collaborate with marketing, design, and development teams to enhance the overall user experience.
- Media Organization - Organize various types of media, ensuring seamless integration and optimal functionality. Collaborate with multimedia teams to create and optimize visual content.
- Analytics and Optimization - Utilize web analytics tools to analyse user engagement and make data-driven decisions for content optimization. Implement SEO strategies to improve the website's visibility and search engine rankings.
- Continuous Improvement - Solicit and incorporate user feedback to enhance website content and functionality. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the website competitive.

**Skills & Experience**
- Proven experience as a Web Content Coordinator or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of content management systems (CMS) and web publishing.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and meet project deadlines.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and web analytics tools.

**Certifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
