**Position Information**:
St Johns Park High School is a proud comprehensive school of 946 students, in South Western Sydney, where 94% of students are from a language background other than English. The Cabrogal people of the Darug Nation are the traditional custodians of the Land. The school drives learning through students, teachers, parents and school leaders working together.
St Johns Park High School is committed to developing the talents and capabilities of all students to enhance learning and achievement. The school aims to prepare students socially, emotionally and academically to lead rewarding lives as engaged, responsible citizens in an inclusive and dynamic community. The school has a strong reputation as a provider of quality educational services and outcomes for a diverse community. It includes a Special Education unit with six designated classes including mild to moderate intellectual disability and autism.
The school has a highly motivated staff to support students' academic, social and personal growth through a broad, relevant and innovative curriculum including VET pathways, high potential and gifted education (HPGE) programs, student leadership and STEAM education programs.

- Highly visible, approachable leader with outstanding interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence with a strong commitment to enhancing partnerships with parents, external agencies and the wider community.
- Inspiring leader who drives a positive vibrant culture of inclusion, consultation and authentic connections with students and staff.
- Strategic and visionary leader who maintains and builds staff and executive capacity to implement curriculum change and drive a culture of continuous improvement through the delivery of the School Plan.
**General Selection Criteria**:
1. High level educational leadership with the skills to lead and manage a complex public school focused on the delivery of high quality education
2. Ability to lead and manage rigorous and inclusive whole school teaching and learning programs
3. High level communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build positive relationships and engage all levels of the school and educational community
4. Ability to lead and manage the development and performance of staff to improve teaching and learning
5. Ability to plan systems and manage resources effectively and equitably to enhance teaching and learning
6. Capacity to lead staff in implementing the Department's Aboriginal education policies and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people
