Come and join our small team of dedicated Midwives. Calvary Hobart Maternity Unit offers collaborative and supportive relationship with our Obstetricians and Paediatricians. Allowing greater accountability and autonomy. We promote continuity of care for women who choose our facility. The service also provides antenatal education and a lactation clinic.
We are a private Maternity facility with 21 post-natal and surgical (Gynaecological) beds, 8 bed Level 2 Special Care Nursery and 4 Birth Suites. You will have opportunity to work across all areas of midwifery, including the special care nursery. Self-rostering principles and a fully rotational roster.
All our rooms are private rooms with ensuites. We have one Deluxe Suite offering a unique post-natal experience in a hotel like setting.

Why join us?
**Financial incentives**: We offer an incentive scheme for Permanent Midwives $1000 per month paid quarterly for 0.8 to full time, $750 per month paid quarterly for 0.7 - 0.5 FTE and $450 per month paid quarterly for 0.4 to 0.1 FTE.

Pay rate is dependent on Enterprise Agreement and experience - $39 - $50.98 per hour + super
