About the role

This Dietetics Position is a Professional Level 3 Part-time fixed term position (24 hours a week for 6 months) based at St Johns Calvary in Hobart. Days and hours can be flexible and a Professional Level 2 would be considered.

**Your main duties will include**:
Consult with Medical, Nursing and other Health Professionals in the day to day nutritional and dietetic requirements of patients and staff.
Liaise with Catering Manager and Food Service Staff to ensure a nutritionally sound menu with adequate provision for therapeutic diets.
Provide clinical supervision to staff and students as required.
Assess the nutritional status and requirements of patients by providing a clinical nutrition service for inpatients.
About you
Bachelor of Science/Applied Science plus Plus Post-Graduate Diploma in Dietetics or Masters Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent
Eligible for membership of the Dietitians' Association of Australia
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in contemporary rehabilitation, patient-centred care and dietetics practice
Ability to function independently or within a multidisciplinary team
Ability to be flexible and adaptive and innovative in approaches to service delivery
High level of written and verbal communication skills including patient advocacy, conflict resolution and competence in computer technology
