We are now looking for a confident, can-do **Accounts Officer** who can understand a changing environment and enjoys the challenge of task achievement - Processing of company store trade and sundry supplier invoices. - EFT creditor payments including cheques and contras for all trade and sundry creditors. - Preparation and payment of monthly rents and advertising fund invoices. - Responsible for the General Ledger reconciliation of all trade and sundry suppliers to statements. - Responsible for the reconciliation of Provision for Stock - Purchases general ledger account. - Preparation, posting and payment of Amex expenses. - Prepare daily Bank Reconciliation for company store bank accounts. - Backup for Accounts Payable Manager’s duties. - Backup for some Accounts Receivables jobs. - Contribute to teamwork in the national network in a way that supports the company. - Process Support Centre sundry invoices **Your skills and experience** - Display good business nouse and the ability to "hit the ground running" - Demonstrate great initiative - once shown, you don't wait to be told, you are a self-starter. - Resilience, as the task load, can be challenging at times. - You are highly focused and conscientious by nature. **We Offer** - Eastern Suburbs Melbourne location, close to Canterbury station. - A small, supportive & dynamic team - Staff discount - Learning and development opportunities - Immediate start. **Please note, you will be required to present a clean Police check as part of our pre-employment screening.
